Baird A. Brock

Baird A. Brock is Professor Emeritus of Economics, Central Missouri State University. He taught economic-related courses and served as curriculum consultant at universities in London and Moscow. His publications are in comparative economics. He serves on financial committees of numerous civic organizations. As editor with Sweetgum Press, he is particularly interested in short histories related to business, civic or religious organizations. Other interests include travel, music, art, and ballet.

Rose Marie (R.M.) Kinder

Rose Marie (R.M.) Kinder is the author of An Absolute Gentleman (Counterpoint 2007), and two short-story collections: A Near-Perfect Gift, winner of the 2005 University of Michigan Literary Fiction Award and Sweet Angel Band, winner of the 1991 Helicon Nine Willa Cather Award. She received her B.A., M.F.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, Tucson. From 1992-2001, she edited Pleiades at the University of Central Missouri(UCM) where she also coordinated the Creative Writing Program. She is a co-owner and co-editor of Cave Hollow Press.

Kristine Lowe-Martin

Kristine-Lowe Martin is a writer, photographer, and graphic artist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Business from the University of Arizona. A founding editor with Sweetgum Press, she is involved in all editorial processes. Her special interests are contemporary literature, literature for young adults, film, and visual arts, including computer-generated art.
